 biography

Le Anh graduated from Vietnam National University of Art Education, and pursued her MA in Fine Art at Vietnam University of Fine Art. She is considered one of the most active artists amongst her young Vietnamese peers. She loves traveling and always goes out to sketch landscapes en plein air. Themes in her works range from natural landscapes, still lifes to self-portraits. Her group exhibitions include Vietnam National Art Exhibition (2015), Vietnam’s Festival for Emerging Artists (2017/2020), Open Exhibition (Work Room Four, 2016-2019), Charity Exhibition & Auction (organised by Operation Smile foundation), Annual Exhibition of Young Artists Club (Vietnamese Art Association, 2015-2020) and most recently, Dreaming about Landscape (Mo Art Space, 2020). Le Anh works as an independent artist and the president of the Hanoi Young Painter Club, and has received various awards from exhibitions organised by the Vietnam Art Association, namely Hanoi Art Exhibition (2020), Art of Region 3 (Tay Bac-Viet Bac) (2018), Exhibition for Emerging Vietnamese Artists (Korean Culture Centre in Vietnam & Vietnam Art & Photography Association, 2017) and Student Exhibition (Vietnam University of Fine Art, 2016).
